I visited your site today. It made me laugh my ass off, mainly because its all so true. The bit about a "day in the feminist life" was golden because I'm sure if I took a day out of my life and underlined everything having to do with "woman empowering" and such, I would come up with a similar list. Problem is, it is hard for us women to poo poo the recent popular feminist agenda. I mean, c'mon, what woman wants to gainsay an argument like "its only fair that we should rule the world" ? Everybody loves to be justified for their greed, whether its for power or the "right to wear revlon lipstick" (hehe) What I love is that corprate america can take it where no feminist ever thought--- to dictate them their wants and desires. Haha. That is the final joke.

I don't particularly care what anybody thinks about my views, but here they are: Women currently have support groups for (1) Genital Warts, (2) Vaginismus, (3) Endometriosis, (4) Painful Intercourse, (5) Post Abortion Stress Syndrome, (6) Silicone/Saline Breast Implants, and (7) Breast Implant Victims. Women also suffer from things like "Post-partum Depression", "Antepartum Depression", "Premenstrual Syndrome", "Premenstrual Disphoric Disorder", "Menstrual Syndrome", "Post Menstrual Syndrome". Women get "Breast Cancer", "Vaginal Cancer", "Cervical Cancer", "Uterine Cancer", "Ovarian Cancer", "Cancer of the Vulva", and "Cancer of the Fallopian Tubes". Women also suffer from emotional abberrations such as "The Lorene Bobbit (penis mutilation) Syndrome", "Battered Wife Syndrome", and "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder". Approximately 11,000,000 women in this country suffer from "Stress Urinary Incontinence".

WOMEN & PROZAC SHOULD BE SOUL-MATES !!!
My question, simply put, is "what man in his right mind would ever want to marry one of those biologically, psychologically, sociologically, and spiritually bankrupt critters ? Going out with a critter like that is kind of like cruising the grounds of a mental institution looking for a date !!!

While it is true, that every 15 seconds, some woman in this country is abused by a man, I tend to look at this delemna in a different light. Every 15 seconds, some "Crisis Addicted" woman is abused by her "Crisis". On an unconscious level, what the woman is saying is, "Honey, I need a "crisis", and "you're it". A healthy, functional woman, if there is such a critter, would have left the "shithead" long before the arguments escalated into violence.

I think... no, I'm sure that I'm anti-feminist. I'd go as far as to say that I'm verging on sexist towards women. Feminists on a whole have taken the idea way too far. I sense almost a hate coming from most women. It's become more of a trend than a conviction by now, with mothers passing the "idealism" to their daughters. They learn to blame their problems and agitations on men.

Generally speaking, humans are emotionally turbulent. Women, however, have gradually learned to externalize these feelings to the extreme. They feel that they are the victims of the world. It is my belief that the majority of "victims" in the world fit into a psychological profile that leads them to such situations. There is research to back this up.

Men are three times (if I remember correctly) more likely to feel depressed or worthless than women. Could this be a side effect of the pressure women put on them in everyday life? Maybe. Or maybe it's just a biological symptom. Either way, it's something most people don't know. It's odd that women are twice as likely as men to commit or attempt suicide.

These are not very solid facts, only examples of details supporting my own beliefs. I feel that in today's society and from a survival standpoint, men are generally biologically superior to women. There are a few exceptions to every rule. Maybe if we let some aspects of natural selection into our way of living, then the sexes would be more equal. This is merely an opinion. Will people it have more impact on people if they know it's coming from a girl? Maybe. Maybe not.

America has declared war on terrorism and the heads of the developed countries have rushed to offer support and assistance. The boys are at it again. Playing war games.

It is not that we don't need to hold terrorism in check. Of course we do. But where is the wisdom? Have we sat back and looked at why countries support terrorists? Have we looked at the pain that US foreign policy has caused people across the globe? Have we asked the impact of the US attitude to their position as a Superpower? In many countries America is hated, have we asked why?

I write these words as a woman, and my approach is typical of my gender. Wise women ask why, they look for dialogue and reflection and use it as the basis for decision making and action. Understanding the causes leads to better and longer lasting solutions. Such an approach (referred to in the literature as transformational) doesn't help us to feel puffed up and inflated or have us look like heroes, it does however help in solving problems peacefully and effectively.

But the world is led by males, and men have a history of violence. Even against the people they love. Women often keep quiet because they are the victims of male violence, even in times of peace.

A report by The Body Shop 1998 revealed that one in four American women aged 18 to 65 experiences domestic violence, i.e. is a victim of war in her own home. In the USA a husband, boyfriend or live-in partner batters a woman every nine seconds. Of course women can and do leave. To do so however, increases their risk of severe injury or death by over 70%. The American Medical Association reports that every five years family violence kills as many women as the total number of Americans who died in the Vietnam War.

During times of war this violence against women increases. Up to 80% of the refugees fleeing from conflict are women and children (Angela King, United Nations Assistant Secretary General (2000)). What is fascinating is that it is male deaths that we mourn, the men who fall in action, not the women who fall to rape, sexual slavery, and battery at the hands of men, their own and others.

Where in all this conflict and big talk of male assault is the wise woman's voice? The voice of compassion and understanding and reason. Where is the voice that calls us to stand strongly against terrorism but to do so with understanding and sanctity of human life? Where is the voice that says - "But what about our children?"

We can see the USA as the victim of terrorism or we can see terrorism as an inappropriate response to US foreign policy and economic imperialism. We can use terrorism as an invitation to more violence, inciting, as it will, retaliation and pain or we can call for dialogue of the wise to find peaceful solutions. Wisdom is not limited to men. In fact, wise men know that they are only half of the equation and fight to include wise women in their dialogue.

Increasingly research shows us that women's natural leadership style is more effective and bodes better for enduring relationships than the style of men. Yet men and women alike discount the women's way and promote the male. So we are left with the most aggressive members of our species making the decisions and the most capable leaders, bearing the brunt.
